People in focus

The company provides its employees many opportunities comprising health care and a wide range of measures for improving and maintaining an optimum work-life balance. These include healthy food and free fresh fruit available at the workplace, plus the provision of powernapping offers and a wide range of participation sports. Employees are also given the opportunity to immerse themselves in many key business issues in our corporate seminars.

We also consider the compatibility of career and family to be a focal priority. We operate our own Krabbelstube (crèche) for the younger children of employees at our headquarters in Kremsmünster, Austria.

Further training and education opportunities

The employees are the central focus of Greiner Group thinking. One aspect of this is that we place the greatest emphasis on training and further training opportunities. It was with this purpose in view that we established the ground-breaking Greiner Academy. Furthermore Greiner Group is respected as an accomplished and confirmed seeker of new talent, both within our own ranks and externally. Greiner discovers and promotes talent both in young people beginning their careers and also in people with ambition and talent who have established positions within the Group in the own trainee program it has developed and perfected.

Sustainability

Greiner is fully committed to environmental sustainability in particular by means of a careful use of production resources. This concern for the environment has been clearly demonstrated by the numerous prizes the Group has received in recent years (including "klima:aktiv energy efficient company", Prix Entreprises & Environnement / Edition 2010). The environmental concern Greiner is by no means limited, however, to production optimization. Another major focus is on collecting all wastes for recycling.
